Bon'di everybody,Again it feels like I haven't posted in a while... and well yeah that's because I actually haven't posted in a while. So here's a new old one finally, about my trip to Italy and meeting my Italian fan Sofia in Venice.
You probably know that Italy and everything in connection with this beautiful country is my love of life. I love the sights of the country, the culture, the people, the food - everything. So I was extremely happy that I have the chance again to travel there and also to meet Sofia, my adorable Italian fan (but rather my friend than a fan now actually). We planned to meet first two years ago, when finally my parents didn't let me go alone, so we couldn't. Plus last year Sofia spent her summer vacacion in a 2-month-long summer camp in Malta learning English. So well yeah, after two years, we finally managed to put up a meet-up! :)
We spent 5 days together in Vencie and in the neighborhood, and I loved every minute of it. Sofia lives in the island of Burano (which is a smaller island near Venice) so she seemed to be a pretty good tour guide. We enjoyed the beauty of Venice for three days, we ate Italian pizza, tried the famous gondolas, visited the St. Marc Cathedral and pretty much just let ourselves get lost in the narrow streets and canals of the city. The following day we spent exploring Sofia's island Burano and I must admit I fell in love a lot more with this place than I could imagine before. It's not crowded, it's very neat and the people are the friendliest ever. Sofia has a brother Guiseppe who took us out on a boat trip around in the evening so we could admire the sun going down to its seabed waving good night to us. After we had a traditional dinner in one of the restaurants of the island. Gosh, I really really love Italian food, so yummy. The last day we went to Murano which is an other smaller island around there famous for its glass. We could have a look behind the scenes of making glass and it was very interesting. Then, my trip there was pretty much over and it was time for me to rush to the airport and fly home.
Here, I want to thank again for Sofia, Guiseppe and their parents that they gave me such amazing 5 days. I love ya'll. <3
Arrivederci,
Kim <3
P.s.: Photos of the trip can be found in the Gallery section :)
